 Natives, Missionaries, and the Birth of Catholicism in Los Angeles

On July 1, 2023, the Feast Day of St. Junipero Serra, the Mission San Gabriel campus reopened and featured a restored Church and a newly curated exhibit.  Co-curated by Dr. Steven Hackel and Prof. Yve Chavez, this new exhibit comes on the heels of a three-year shut down after the Old Mission Church suffered a devastating fire on July 11, 2020.
